Majahuas Biological Station (Turtle Rescue)

Majahuas Biological Station is a secret paradise on the Costa Alegre - host to a concentration of animal and plant life that is hard to match anywhere else in the area, including endangered sea turtles. For those of you who have an interest in wildlife and conservation, this is the perfect tour - surrounded by palm trees, a lagoon on one side and sea on the other, few words can describe it's beauty.
This is a once in a lifetime chance to see the working relationship between a small Mexican community and the amazing creatures that they are trying to protect - an opportunity to learn about the work and effort that goes into such a relationship and the history that has led up to it. Approx $100 per person.
