La Manzanilla Mangrove Boat Tour: Light Activity

Join us for a mystical dawn or dusk journey through La Manzanilla mangrove. This tour is done in a traditional panga boat and offers a diverse glimpse at many water birds. In addition to numerous resident and migratory bird populations including the Boat-billed Heron, Red-billed Pigeon, Orange-fronted Parakeet, American Stork, and Roseate Spoonbill, the mangrove hosts the second largest population of the American crocodile along the coast of Jalisco. Opportunities also abound to view other mammalian life such as the White-tailed Coati and the Greater Fishing Bat. Includes: Insurance, mangrove ecology, birding interpretation, binoculars. Approximate time from departure to arrival: 2-3 hours Approx $35 per person
