Welcome to CocoCabañas
Welcome to CocoCabañas,
the elegantly rustic solar powered beachside bungalows
located on México’s stunning
Central Pacific Coast, also know as the Costa Alegre (Happy
Coast). The bungalows are situated directly on the pristine
Playa de los Cocos (Coconut Beach) and one of the world’s
largest palm and banana groves on the Isla de Navidad
peninsula. Just across the lagoon is the world famous
tourist and artisan town of Barra de Navidad.
Our concept is to provide our guests
with a comfortable, pleasure-filled and solar powered
experience amidst the unspoiled Playa de los Cocos and the
spectacular surrounding tropical panorama. The unique
bajareque (woven wood and adobe)
building style and thatched roofs help keep the cabañas
fresh and comfortable.
CocoCabañas is supported by an
impressive solar power system, giving the entire inn a more
than adequate supply of electricity and hot water. A strong
breeze from the beach helps keep the cabañas
cool day and night for a peaceful and hypnotic night’s
slumber to the music of ocean waves.
Each of our thatched roofed cabañas
has large otate (native bamboo)
windows with sensational views of the ocean.
You’ll never grow tired of lying in a hammock while gazing
upon enormous crashing waves, sunsets from another world,
and scores of pelicans and other ocean life passing by.
Even dolphins and whales make guest appearances during
migration season. Take a virtual tour now of our cabañas
and palapa/bar to find out which one you want to
reserve
today!
Once you’ve relaxed enough in your
hammock, come into our palapa bar for
ice-cold tropical drinks and food. After sunset enjoy a moonlit walk
on the beach, an oceanside fire, a nighttime swim and good
times under the stars at Pachangas Mar Bar.
Or, head into the quaint beachside
town of Barra de Navidad for a variety of shopping and
nightlife fun. Also check out the wide range of activities
such as bike tours, surfing, bird watching, sea kayaking,
sports fishing, snorkeling, boat tours to other beautiful
nearby beaches, just to name a few.
Please scan our website for more
